Vesna Crnić-Grotić is a Professor of Law at the faculty of Law University of Rijeka and a Vice-Chair of the Committee of Experts of the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages. She is also a member of the expert group for the arbitration dispute between Croatia and Slovenia since 2011 and she was previously an agent for Croatia at the International Court of Justice, Case Concerning the Application of the Convention for the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Croatia v. Serbia). Her research interests include the European Convention for the protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, EU Institutions, Sources of European Law and Protection of Minorities.

Michal Balcerzak is a professor of international human rights law at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Poland and a former legal adviser at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He is currently alternate Member of the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. He has also served in various committees of the Council of Europe as an expert on thematic human rights issues. His research areas include international human rights law, protection of national minorities, international judiciary and litigation, diplomatic protocol and international disaster law.
Mart Susi has MA degree in Sociology from University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA) and doctor iuris degree from University of Tartu (Estonia). He has held senior positions in several academic institutions. Currently he is heading the law program at Tallinn University and has the position of Professor of Human Rights Law. Mart Susi has initiated and is leading several research and development projects funded by the European Commission and the Nordic Council of Ministers. He has edited and is currently editing several research books on the topics of new human rights, the digital dimension of human rights and the controversy around the meaning of human rights. He is developing the Internet Balancing Formula and has lectured on the topic at various universities in Europe and South America. He is also involved as an expert for the European Commission and non-governmental organisations.
